Paolo Cesare Maldini was born on June 26, 1968 in Milan, Italy. Italian player considered one of the best defensive player in the world. He spent all his career at AC Milan, playing there for 25 years until he was nearly 41 years.

Together with Milan, Maldini won seven times the Scudetto, 1Coppa Italy, 5 Supercoppa Italy, five Champions League titles, five European Super Cups, two Cup Interconental and one FIFA World Club Cup title. The main ability lies in his accurate tackling and leadership spirit.

Until the year 2009, Maldini holds the record for most international appearances with 126 appearances since his debut in 1988. He retired from the Italian national team in 2002 after nearly eight years as team captain.
